I've married over 300 couples with customised ceremonies for couples across all age groups and cultures. Some ceremonies were delivered in intimate settings in private homes or courtyards and others in large indoor or outside venues. I have performed civil and Poruwa ceremonies in Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane and even on a boat on Port Phillip Bay! I've been hired 3 times to perform unique traditional Poruwa ceremonies in Sri Lanka. 

The Poruwa ceremony was a valid traditional marriage ceremony common to Sinhalese people in Sri Lanka for centuries. In the present time, the Sinhalese people consider the Poruwa Ceremony an important cultural and Buddhist ceremony in addition to the legal civil ceremony required by law in countries around the world. I perform both legal civil and poruwa ceremonies. I am a practising Buddhist, fluent in Sinhalese, able to chant Buddhist blessings in Pali language, and provide English explanations of the ceremony.  I can include cultural aspects important to the couple and assist them secure required items.
